During the weeks of Easter, Memorial Day, and Labor Day nightly rates will be at High Season Nightly Rate.
Value season is offered on some vacation homes and is indicated in each home listing in the pricing area as "$Value Season". All homes that offer value season pricing for 2007 have the prices published on the web site.
Check-in is between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm Saturday. Catch up on house rules from our brochure and confirmation package during your trip. We look forward to seeing you. Please drive carefully.
Damage Deposit/No Worries Protection Plan:
We appreciate our rental guests, many who have been vacationing with us for generations! Therefore, we do not require a damage deposit, but instead of our No Worries Protection Plan, outlined below. Should you not purchase the No Worries Protection Plan, you will be required to pay a damage deposit of no less then $300.00 per reservation. No Worries Protection Plan is not offered for nightly reservations.
No Worries Protection Plan: Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental loss or damage to the rental property resulting from yourself or others in your party up to $2,000. Please report all damages that you notice upon check-in and contact our office staff as soon as possible, and no later then 24 hours after check-in to avoid possible loss of the No Worries Protection Plan. If any damage should occur during your stay, notify one of our office staff immediately in writing. Purchasing the No Worries Protection Plan does not relieve your responsibilities as a tenant. You will be held responsible for obvious acts of neglect and any malicious damage and/or theft. Also, in the event check -out procedures are not followed, you may be billed. We inspect every home after each party’s departure; if damage is reported after your stay, you may be billed.
Please note that in some special cases, the No Worries Protection Plan may not be offered, as some homes will require the traditional Damage Deposit. The Damage Deposit will be collected and administered as permitted under the NC Tenant Damage Deposit Act. Damage Deposits will be returned within forty five (45) days from the date of departure.
Pets:
Absolutely no pets of any kind are allowed unless home is denoted as Pet Friendly. Bringing pets into our rental homes will result in an automatic eviction and no refund of rental charge and/or deposits. Pet Friendly Fee is $100 non refundable.
Housekeeping:
Each home is equipped for housekeeping. Kitchens come stocked with cookware and dinnerware. Beds have mattress pads, bedspreads and pillows. You will need to bring all paper products, soaps staples, personal items and linens with you. Departure cleaning is included in the rental rate in the majority of our rental homes. In the event your reservation does not include the departure maid service and you elect to clean the unit yourself and it is left in and unacceptable condition, your damage deposit will be used for any and all recovery. Sunset Vacations does not offer DAILY CLEANING SERVICE.
